Azonto Dance

We’re all familiar with Asamoah Gyan, right? Gyan, Ghanian footballer, and Hiplife Rapper became known in the footballing world for his particular goal celebrating dance, hilariously imitated by one Sunderland teammate.

Well, This is Africa reports that English footballers aren’t the only one going with Gyan’s dance, which has morphed into a youth dance phenomenon called the Azonto. Plus, one of my favorite tunes that Benjamin based me in Accra this summer, Sarkodie’s “U go kill me” is becoming the main soundtrack.
