Swappi’s insane soca anthem Bubble on ah DJ has getting me up in the mornings the last couple of weeks. Barbados’s Scratch Master, who you might remember from his amazing road mix of Zoelah’s ‘Fly Away’ has made this great version with Cham and an unknown lady. How can you not love this.

The swagged out confidence of Cheb Adil El Miloudi reminds me of US rappers in some ways. He almost breaks into a rap at about 2:25 in this TV show appearance. Maybe Kanye West will sign him along with D’Banj.

The more albums I hear from this guy, the more I can see whey he is such a big deal in the Maghrebi region. Weirdly, as I’m writing this, DJ /Rupture, who tipped me to his work just posted a 4×4 remix of a Miloudi track by DJ Su-Real over at Dutty Artz. The driving percussive Autotuned Cha3bi tracks on this live album is immense.
