Dre Skull – Loud Speaker riddim

Since his excellent job on producing the entire last Vybz Kartel record, New York’s Dre Skull is back with a new riddim called the Loud Speaker. Voiced by caribbean heavyweights Beenie Man, Natalie Storm, Popcaan & soca overlord Machel Montano, it’s destined to be a beast on a truck, melodically simple but deadly effective. Like London Future’s ‘Bubble on a DJ’ riddim, it’s another great example of Trinidad’s soca influence on JA dancehall. Check out this interview with Dre on his production process over at Dubspot and hear a preview of all the versions on the riddim below. Purchase it on the Mixpak label tomorrow.
