Antony Santos – Vete (Uproot Andy RMX)

For me one of the highlights on Andy’s awesome XLR8R mix was his remix of bachata guitar legend Antony Santos. Other than the odd track by Tito el Bambino, Omega and Toby Love, I’ve always had a few issues with the sickly romantica nature of Dominican bachata but Andy’s mix brings out the fire and turns this midtempo love jam into a moombachata club destroyer.

this was absolutely the standout track of the mix for me… still danceable as a bachata, but funky as hell. the clubby production makes the classical guitar stand out too… that man is a genius. X
